"Visa exemption" means a country that allows citizens of another country to enter and stay for a certain period of time without the need for formalities or fees related to immigration.

Visa exemption includes visa exemption for entry, exit, and transit. The temporary stay is exempt from visa from the date of entry.

1. Citizens holding Brunei and Myanmar passports are exempt from Vietnamese visa for a temporary stay of not more than 14 days.

2. Citizens holding passports of Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Laos are exempt from Vietnamese visa for 30 days.

3. The Philippine passport holders do not need a Vietnamese visa for 21 days.
Citizens from (*) countries can enter and exit Vietnam many times.

For countries that are not on the visa exemption list, they need to apply for a visa when they come to Vietnam.
