Can I Enter Vietnam Earlier/Later Than My Granted Arrival Date In Visa Approval Letter?

If your approval letter was granted by Vietnam Immigration Department already. But you need enter Vietnam earlier or later than your arrival date in the approval letter because some reasons out of your control. You can follow this article to know what need to do:

1. Enter Vietnam earlier than the arrival date:

We are pleased to inform that your visa is valid from the arrival date to the exit date in the approval letter. So you can enter Vietnam anytime in this period, as long as leaving Vietnam before the exit date. However, you can enter Vietnam earlier one day only. For this case, you have to contact us to correct your arrival date on the approval letter exactly, then you can use it to enter Vietnam normally.

If you would like to arrive sooner from two or more, please re-apply visa with us to get new visa.

2. Enter Vietnam later than the arrival date:

You can enter Vietnam later than the granted arrival date in visa approval letter as long as the visa is valid.

We would also like to let you know, if you want to stay in Vietnam longer than the duration between your arrival date and exit date for some reason, you can extend visa with us. You just need to send to our email address (visa@vietnam-visa.org.vn): passport scan, visa ticker, hotel booking, returned flight ticket. After receiving your documents, we will check and extend visa for you.
