An additional 12 people were infected with CoV-19

On December 22, they entered Can Tho airport from England on flight VN50, immediately quarantined, and took samples for testing at Vinh Long. Test results once a day 23/12 positive for nCoV, they treated at Hospital Tuberculosis and Lung Disease Vinh Long Province.

+ "Patient 1433", male, 19 years old, from Doi Ngo town, Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province.
On December 6, he transited from the US to Japan and entered Da Nang International Airport on flight VN319, immediately quarantined, and took samples for testing in Da Nang. Test result on 24/12 positive for nCoV, the patient was treated at Da Nang Lung Hospital.

Previously, on this flight, 2 nCoV-positive cases were recorded.

Thus, the total cases increased to 1,433, the number from 1,281. The death toll from Covid-19 was 35, with four deaths after three to four negative tests.

The rest of the patients were in stable health, of which 6 were tested negative for nCoV once, 10 were negative for the second time and 4 were negative for the third time. The total number of people in close contact and entry from the epidemic zone is more than 16,000.
